Our blog was created to insure you have all the latest information available about various events, committees, challenges, and projects concerning our organization and the New River in Onslow County, NC. The cabin is located about 100 feet from the river on a quiet unpaved road. Miles of the road follow the river and is ideal for hiking, biking, and horseback riding. Canoe, kayak, and tube rentals are located within one mile in distance from the cabin. The surrounding area is known for small mouth bass fishing as well as hunting. Ample camping area is provided if desired while staying at New River Getaway.
